From the conversation

A handwritten touch in a technology-led business

Yuriy Margolin asks Matt how his Colorado Springs moving-company experience led him to build MovingLetters.ai. Matt describes a wish to pursue his interest in technology while continuing to run a moving company. The service he outlines is not a generic postcard blast: it prepares handwritten-style, real pen-on-paper mail for people with a new home listing or an under-contract property. He also describes thank-you cards designed with the mover, and explains that a handwritten piece can sit alongside, rather than replace, a company’s existing postcard program.

The interview moves from production to the reason for sending anything at all. Matt and Yuriy talk about making a customer feel seen, staying in touch beyond the transaction and saying thank you for the business that supports the crew. Matt reflects on learning from other moving-industry operators and on gratitude in his own life. These are his experiences and intentions, not independently measured direct-mail results. The useful distinction for an owner is between sending more pieces and giving someone a reason to remember the people behind the company.

For moving-company operators

Try one specific, personal follow-up after a move, and check whether it strengthens the relationship before scaling the mailing workflow.
